Achille Devéria (1800 – 1857) – French painter and graphic artist. He mainly dealt with lithography and watercolors and, more rarely, with oil painting. Richard Müller (1874-1954) was born in the city of Tschirnitz. Being an artistic soul from a young age, Müller attended the School of the Royal Saxon Porcelain Manufactory in Meissen. After graduating he moved to Dresden and even though he was still very young to be accepted into a university, he entered the Art Academy. At the age of 19, Müller started experimenting with the practice of etching something graphic artist and sculptor, Max Klinger. Müller became a professor at the Academy and amongst his students were George Grosz and Otto Dix.
Noma Bar (born in 1973) – Israeli graphic artist and illustrator. His works appear in newspapers, magazines, book covers, and advertising campaigns. He worked for The Guardian, The New York Times, Time Out London, The Observer, The Economist and Wallpaper. Illustrated book covers for Don DeLillo and Haruki Murakami; appeared in Google, Sony and Nike advertising campaigns.
